If you do not see the menu item 'binaural-spatializer-vst' in the Audio Effects menu, you do not have the VST installed. We recommend that you install it in the following way: 1. Download the DLL from the following page: http://www.audacityteam.org/download/vst-users/3d-binaural-spatializer-for-audacity.html 2. Download the VST from the following page: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/ 3. Unzip the VST. 4. Start audacity and choose 'Import Plugins from a file'.5. Select the directory where you unzipped the VST. 6. Click 'Open'.7. Click 'Import'.8. Choose the VST file from the file system. 9. If you see 'Plugin successful loaded: 3d-binaural-spatializer-vst-1-0-0-1' in the Audio Effects menu, the VST is working.
Binaural spatialization uses a simulated 3D environment, where every sound source has its own spatial location. When switching between your headphones and the speakers, please wait a short while for the change to take effect. After you have finished playing your files, close your VST. To start using the VST again, you must restart your computer.
